Program Summary

Powder Intro is the most approachable way to experience CMH heli-skiing if your main goal is to feel better in deep snow—not just “get through it.” This program puts coaching, pacing, and smart terrain selection at the center of the week, so you can build confidence quickly without feeling pressured to keep up.

Expect a more supportive group dynamic, with guides who lean into technique cues, line choice, and repeatable feedback—helping you learn how to stay balanced, manage speed, and use the snow to your advantage. Run selection is intentionally geared toward confidence-building terrain (often with better visibility and more consistent snow), so each day stacks small wins and makes the next step feel natural.

You’ll still get the full CMH lodge-week experience—professional guiding, safety-first operations, and access to legendary BC terrain—but with a clear progression focus. If you’re strong enough to ski the mountain but want powder to feel smoother, less tiring, and way more fun, Powder Intro is designed for you.
