Program Summary
CMH Freeride is for skiers and riders who want their heli week to feel more dynamic, more technical, and more expressive—less “follow-the-tracks,” more choose-a-line and send it (smartly). The emphasis is on steeper terrain, playful features, and big-mountain flow: think pillow zones, tighter fall-line options, and the kind of natural terrain that rewards strong fundamentals, quick decision-making, and confident speed control.
What really sets Freeride apart is the pace and intent of the day. Groups tend to move with more momentum, and run selection often leans toward terrain that feels exciting and varied—while still staying aligned with conditions, visibility, and group readiness. Guides will support that freeride mindset with coaching that’s highly practical: line choice, where to manage speed, how to stay composed in technical snow, and how to keep your skiing/riding efficient so you can stay strong across the week.
On select weeks, a featured guest athlete adds an extra layer of stoke and insight—while CMH’s guide team keeps everything running smooth, structured, and safety-first. If your ideal trip includes steeps, features, and progression into bigger lines, Freeride is the program designed to deliver that big-mountain energy—without losing the professionalism and risk management that CMH is known for.
